Global Surroundings, LLC introduces ecologically friendly teak furniture at the Chicago International Casual Furniture Market
Scottsdale, AZ. August 28th, 2006 – Global Surroundings, LLC
Global Surroundings, LLC is pleased to introduce two new lines, never seen before, for the outdoor furniture industry. This ecologically friendly furniture is specifically designed from reclaimed teak wood. Global Surroundings will be introducing the Rusteaka and Chicteak lines at the Chicago International Casual Furniture Market, September 13-16th.
“People today entertain family and friends in a casual and relaxed atmosphere and they want their surroundings to reflect that warm feeling”, explains JL Jackson, President of Global Surroundings. “We have introduced this line for people that want a story and some true history to their furniture. Baby Boomers today are looking for function, style and value”, adds JL, “and by hand-crafting each piece out of reclaimed teak wood in beautiful timeless designs, this furniture serves all of their needs”.
The furniture is constructed from many old parts of old homes in Java, Indonesia. Each piece is unique because of the interesting character of the old wood. Because it is made of durable teak wood, it can be used both indoors and out.
"We felt the Chicago Market was the perfect venue to introduce Global Surroundings because of the high quality and diversity of the buyers at this Market”. Global Surroundings will be unveiling their new line in the Merchandise Mart at booth # 8-9114.
Global Surroundings has partnered with the fashion-forward, outdoor textile expert, Laurie Bell to create these exciting lines.
