is a manufacturer and importer of high quality outdoor furniture. We use only the highest quality of teak in
our outdoor furniture line. Our skilled
craftsmen incorporate extreme attention to detail in manufacturing along with unique
time-tested designs. Teakwood has a naturally high oil content, which makes it both stable and resistant to rotting when exposed, over many years, to the extremes of both summer and winter weather. For several centuries, these special qualities have made teakwood the preferred choice for marine decking and construction. Teak wood today is considered the premium choice for outdoor furniture. Global Surroundings LLC uses precise
mortise and tenon joinery, top quality gluing methods and top grade brassware. Environmentally & socially
responsible: Global Surroundings’ teakwood is
harvested from the island of Java. We
use only teakwood that is under strict control of Perum Perhutani of the Indonesian
Government thus ensuring only a limited number of trees are harvested and proper
reforestation is implemented each year. This policy of cutting and replanting
ensures not only an ample supply of this country’s valuable natural resources but
also provides for continuous local employment. Global Surroundings’ skilled
craftsmen are treated with respect. We
provide medical attention, and food on premises at no cost and we use no child labor. Global Surroundings LLC is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, with a production facility in Central Java, Indonesia. All of our furniture is shipped already fully assembled for immediate enjoyment.
